FIRE WALK WITH ME - Tribute to David Lynch
This concert program is a tribute to the cinematic visionary David Lynch, whose 80th birthday, to be marked on January 20, 2026, offers a unique opportunity to honor this master of mystery through music.
At the heart of the program are the original soundscapes from the films Twin Peaks, Mulholland Drive, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me, and Lost Highway, created by Angelo Badalamenti, as well as the joint avant-garde project of Lynch and Badalamenti, Thought Gang. These works embody the boundary between dreams and nightmarish reality—from lyrical, hypnotic melodies to dark, pulsating rhythms.
The instrumental ensemble of four musicians—saxophone, double bass, percussion, and keyboards—creates a vivid, multilayered sonic canvas. Woven into it are electronic effects and fragments of legendary dialogue, quotations from the films, forming a distinctive Lynchian atmosphere.
